Add to Catalog

Specify any Learning Catalog Folders (which includes their associated Learning content) that will be visible to Learners on your Team and/or any Learning Roles (which includes the Role associated Learners). 

Whenever configuring Learner Catalog View permissions, you may only select entire course folders and/or Learning Roles. 

Individual Learning Elements and Learners are excluded through this process.  

To assign specific course folder(s) for Catalog View Permissions for selected Role(s):

  • Ensure the proper Active Team is selected; should there be more than one Active Team.
  • Select the LMS Admin tab.
  • Select the Actions tab.
  • Select any Folder(s) from the Catalog you wish to be available to selected Learners.
  • Expand the Teams, Roles & Learners panel.
  • Check box for All Team Members to include all your Team Members or leave it un-checked to be able to select specific Learning Roles.
  • If choosing not to select All Team Members, select any desired Learning Roles you want to grant view permissions for your selected Folders within the Learner Catalog.
  • After making any selections as mentioned above; expand the Actions panel.
  • Select Add to Catalog from the Action Panel dropdown menu.

The page refreshes with a prompt under the Action Panel which reads; Present the selected Folders (and associated LE) to the selected Team Members, Learning Roles and /or Learners in the Learner's Catalog. Learner Catalog View permissions are only supported for Folders and Roles. Individual Learning Elements and Learners will be ignored.


Once certain you have selected the desired Folders and any applicable Learners/Roles, click Submit.

If there are no Learning Roles, Learners or Team Members selected, you will be prompted to select these before proceeding.

If there are no Folders or Learning Elements selected, you will be prompted to select these before proceeding.

After clicking Submit, a confirmation message will display which reads; Are you sure you want to Present the selected Folders to the selected Team Members, Learning Roles and /or Learners in the Learner's Catalog?

  • Click Yes.

A confirmation message displays which reads; Learner Catalog Views were Added successfully.

  • Click Ok.

After performing these actions any selected Catalog Folders (and their associated Learning Elements) will now be visible to all Learners within your Team (if applicable) or to the selected Learning Roles (to include their associated Learners).
