Catalog - Introduction
The Catalog is where you will store all your various forms of Learning Content. Within the Accord LMS, Learning Content is referred to as Learning Elements.
Learning Elements can be organized into different Folders and child Folders.
Learning Elements are the core educational tools for training and evaluation.
Learning Elements can be either SCORM elements, such as presentations or quizzes, or non-SCORM elements such as images, videos, PDFs, files, or content pulled from other websites via URLs. Each Learning Element can include metadata such as description and tags as well as access conditions such as prerequisites.
Learning Content is managed from the LMS Admin > Catalog UI.
To access the Accord LMS Catalog;
- Ensure the proper Active Team is selected by using the associated dropdown menu; should more than one Active Team exist.
- Click on he LMS Admin tab.
- Click on the Catalog tab.
The Accord LMS turnkey portal comes pre-populated with some example Folders and Learning Elements.
